The Biggest Egg Hunt in NYC – Governor’s Island

Join in on the fun at the egg hunt on Gov­er­nors Island! Over 50,000 candy-filled eggs will be hidden across sev­er­al areas of the island con­tin­u­ous­ly through­out the day! Grab your Easter bonnet best and stroll along Fifth Avenue in the annual Easter Day Parade! While not a parade in the typical sense (it is without floats or marching bands), it is quite a spectacle, nonetheless. Grab your family and watch parade attendees dressed in everything from outrageous towering hats to elegant suits and party dresses – all in the middle of the street in Manhattan (and there are usually a few Easter bunnies, too!). Better yet – make your own hats and join in the fun. Be sure you stop by and see the annual Easter installation at Channel Gardens, located in the center of Rockefeller Center on 5th Avenue. Le Carrousel at Bryant Park

While not an actual Easter Bunny per se, there is something magical about riding a carousel friend shaped like a bunny in a gorgeous park in the middle of the city. One of Le Carousel’s famous characters is the bunny seen here. Hop on for a ride in your Easter best for a picture moment you won’t forget.
