Plan Dining Reservations

If you don’t get a reservation at first, don’t worry—keep checking the app, as cancellations often free up spots. New same-day reservations also become available around 6:00 a.m. daily for select restaurants. For added flexibility, consider using Mobile Ordering at quick-service restaurants to enjoy a great meal without the need for a reservation.
Rope Drop and Early Entry Perks
Rope drop at Magic Kingdom is a must-do for early risers looking to maximize their day and experience the park with lighter crowds. But what exactly is rope drop? This is the moment when the park officially opens, marked by a literal rope being dropped to allow guests into different areas. At Magic Kingdom, guests can enter Main Street, U.S.A., approximately one hour before the official opening, creating the perfect opportunity to take in the stunning view of Cinderella Castle, grab a coffee at Starbucks, and soak up the charming atmosphere before the rush begins.
