We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Conrad New York Downtown on a Little Kid, Big City! New York Hotel Adventure Kit! Perfect for little travelers who love big city exploring – this add-on package to your hotel stay includes everything mini adventurers need to get the most out of the Big Apple! The fun kit includes our Little Kid, Big City! New York children’s travel book to help inspire your trip, a jam-packed activity book, stickers, an array of crayons and color pencils, family-friendly itineraries, and so much more! The fun travel adventure kit is available at check-in for an additional fee, and has everything you could need for a big city adventure.

Conrad New York Downtown

We are excited to be partnering with our friends at Conrad New York Downtown on this adventure! A true Urban Oasis – this family-friendly hotel is far enough from the hustle and bustle of New York City, however close enough to be convenient to many top attractions. The Conrad New York Downtown is just minutes of a walk from major city destinations such as the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade, and the Oculus. It’s also in close proximity to TriBeCa and SoHo. Traveling with a family? The Conrad New York Downtown is adjacent to the (gorgeous) Hudson River Park, which runs along the river, and steps away from Rockefeller Park which has a fantastic playground for kids. A block away you will find Brookfield Place, a retail shopping center with incredible restaurants and a dining hall. A few blocks further, you will find Pier 26, a fun-filled pier with a fantastic playground, mini-golf, sand volleyball, and more.

Where to Next? The Little Kid Big City! New York Book

New York City has so much to see and do! What do you want to see while in the Big Apple? Use the included Little Kid, Big City! New York children’s adventure book to learn about NYC and for inspiration on what to do and see during your trip! The book explores historic landmarks and sights such as the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Bronx Zoo, and stops to taste the city’s most famous foods, such as pizza and the famous New York bagel. Don’t forget the Adventure Index in the back – it’s chocked full of even more fun destinations and activities.

Carry on! Suitcase Travels
Every Adventure kit includes a fun suitcase, perfectly sized for kids! Small and compact, this fun suitcase is ready for exploring. You can bring it along with you on your adventure or keep it as a New York souvenir.
Itinerary Inspiration
The Adventure Kit includes two activities – both that leave directly from the Conrad New York Downtown Hotel! There’s so much to see and do – Will you head south to Lower Manhattan, or take a ferry to Midtown? The included itineraries have many fun stops and hidden NYC treasures to help you get the most out of your family vacation.
Big City Activities
Have some downtime in the room or a subway ride where you need some activities to keep busy? Bring along the included activity book! Mazes, puzzles, and games – this easy-to-carry activity book helps little ones connect and engage with New York City along the way.
Map your Path
The map in the back of the book is removable – bring it along and Map your Path through the Big Apple, as you are exploring! You can add stickers or draw in other fun destinations that you experienced. Draw lines between the destinations, how far did you travel?
Passport to Adventure

As you explore the Big Apple, be sure to bring along your Adventure Passport, included in the kit! Keep track of where you went, and all the fun stuff you did! Draw your experience, add a ticket stub, or use a sticker from the included sticker sheet to capture the destination. Get creative! At the end of your trip, bring your completed passport to the front desk. You’ll receive a fun prize from the hotel Guest Relations team.

Greetings from NYC
Share your fun by creating a postcard! Doodle your favorite NYC destination, food, or experience on the blank postcards included in the kit, and send it to a friend or family member! Postcards are included in the kit, and stamps are available at the front desk.
Art Supplies for Families
Each kit includes Multicolor Crayons, Skin Tone Crayons, Color Pencils, and a Fabric Pouch (to keep all the supplies organized!).
