Skate at Domino Park

Brooklyn has a new Ice Rink! Grab your crew, enjoy the views, and make some memories at Skate at Domino Park! The 7,100-square-foot rink is located in the park’s newly completed Domino Square on the Williamsburg Waterfront. The rink is a stunner – with incredible views of the Manhattan skyline and the East River, and vistas that stretch as far as the Statue of Liberty. Skate at Domino Park is open seven days a week and offers public skating, themed events, and private rentals. Yes, it’s REAL ice! WHEN: Open 7 days a week. Mon – Fri 12pm – 9pm. Sat & Sun – 9am – 9pm. Last session is 7:45pm.

PRICE: Sessions start at $18. Skate Rental: $12. NYC Residents have discount pricing (enter zipcode online). Half-priced admission and rentals on Wednesdays.

FOR KIDS: Skate rentals available in sizes youth size 9 to adult size 13. Penguin skate aid rentals are available
for $12 for children under 4 feet tall on a first come first served basis.

The Rink at Bryant Park

Skate among NYC’s most famous buildings, with a view of the Empire State Building! This dazzling 17,000-square -foot-rink is the centerpiece of Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, and features free admission, skating shows, and events. Perfect for the holiday season – the rink sits within the Winter Village, and next to the park’s gorgeous Christmas tree, and steps from one of the city’s best Holiday markets. Spin over to the rink in January for the Ice Bumper Cars (a popular activity!). Check the website for details.

WHERE: Bryant Park. Between 40th and 42nd Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

PRICE: Bryant Park’s Ice Rink has FREE Admission! Skate rentals start at $18. Bag check available. 

FOR KIDS: Skate sizes: 6T-7T, kids 8-13, big kids 1-4, and adults 5-14. Three types of skate aids: Penguins, snowmen, and Zambonis. Penguins and snowmen are $26/hour. The Zamboni skate-aid is pushed by an adult, with a little one riding ($30/hr).

Roebling Rink at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Discover the magic of skating beneath the iconic Brooklyn Bridge! Located at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park (right under the iconic Brooklyn Bridge!) Roebling Rink offers breathtaking views of the skyline and waterfront, creating a truly unforgettable winter experience. PRICE: Admission is $10 for all ages. Ice Skate Rental $7. Free sessions for Brooklyn residents on Sundays from 10-11am and Mondays from 5-6pm. Locker rentals are available for a fee.

FOR KIDS: Skate buddies/skate aid rental is $5. Rental helmets are $3. General stroller parking provided (free).


The Rink at Rockefeller Center

Rock around the ice rink at Rockefeller Center! Ice skating on The Rink under the Rockefeller Christmas Tree one of New York’s quintessential winter activities, and a must do for visitors of all ages. Book in advance  – this experience is on the top of many wish lists and session times often times sell out. Want to skate under the tree? The Rockefeller Christmas Tree lights on December 4th and stays through mid January. Visit after the Holidays for less crowds.

WHERE: Rockefeller Center. Between 48th and 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues. 

WHEN: Through March 2025.

PRICE: Starting at $21 for adults and $11 for young children. Skate Rental $12 (all ages). Free chaperone tickets are available.

FOR KIDS: Skate rental sizes from a toddler 9 to an adult 16. Penguin skate aids are available to rent for $25.


Wollman Rink in Central Park

Glide across the ice while surrounded by the twinkling Manhattan skyline at Wollman Rink! Situated between Central Park’s tree tops with the city skyline as a backdrop – it may not get more magical than this iconic ice rink in Central Park. The rink hosts special events, themed skating nights, and live performances, making it a hub of wintertime activity (check website for upcoming events!). Visit during snow and you’ll feel as if you are standing in a magical snow globe.

WHERE: Located in the southeast corner of Central Park. Closest entrance is at 59th Street and 6th Avenue.

LeFrank Center Rink in Prospect Park Brooklyn

Lace up, enjoy a warm hot chocolate and glide on the ice with scenic views of Prospect Park Lake. At 32,000 square feet, LeFrank Center is New York City’s largest ice rink. The center offers two separate surfaces – one open-air, the other covered under a rooftop structure. Work up on appetite from your skate? Grab a seat at the neighboring Bluestone Cafe, a full-service restaurant with beer, wine, and seasonal cocktails.

WHERE: In Prospect Park. ​​LeFrak Center is located near the Lincoln Road and Parkside/Ocean Avenue entrances to the Park.

IC Rink at Industry City

Tucked between two buildings, the IC Rink at Industry City is a magical winter escape. Enjoy some time on the ice, and then glide on over to other fun activities – Industry City offers endless dining, an arcade, a bookstore, and even a chocolate factory.

WHERE: Industry City. 220 West 36th Street Brooklyn. Rink is located in Courtyard 5/6.

WHEN: Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Through March 9 2025.

PRICE: Thursday: $10 admission and rental. Friday – Sunday: $16 admission without rentals, $28 admission and rental.
