Lil Kid having a sweet time in the massive Jelly Belly gift store after the tour.
All Aboard – The Jelly Belly Warehouse Tour is quite a sweet treat!
The (free!) Jelly Belly Visitor Center and Warehouse Tour is located in Pleasant Prairie WI, and is designed to give visitors a glimpse into the Jelly Belly empire.
The tour starts with full-throttle-fun on the Jelly Belly Express – a 25 minute train ride that whizzes you through the warehouse under dangling larger-than-life jelly beans. The train drives through “candy alley” and passes by a number of stations – including amazing jelly bean art and fun dancing characters. Along the tour are video presentations showing the company’s history and how the sugary confections are made.
After the tour – snack time! A free sampling is handed out to all after the tour so all may experience the original gourmet Jelly Belly bean.
Inside the gift shop more sugary fun awaits – a sampling area where visitors are allowed to taste any flavor from Jelly Belly’s empire – including Cold Stone Creamery flavors to the daring Bean Boozled flavors (vomit or skunk spray anyone?) Lil Kid chose a sour apple. Mom chose champagne (which was spot on!)
All aboard! Visitors board the Jelly Belly express.
Family cell phone selfie! As it is a warehouse, all visitors are required to wear a hat per FDA regulations. Our costume loving family happily obliged.
During the tour! Large scale monitors educate visitors on the famed Jelly Belly history. The Jelly Belly art was incredible.
Lil Kid enjoying the ride!
The free sampling packet given out after the tour.
Inside the gift shop – a Jelly Belly world awaits! From endless Jelly Belly products to crane games and even a café – there’s something for everyone.
Our favorite – A (free!) tasting area where you may choose a few samplings and try any flavor from the massive selection,
Belly Flops! Any Jelly bean that is not perfectly shaped is labeled a Belly Flop! These slightly imperfect but equally delicious beans are sold only in the gift shop.
Lil Kid with a very happy belly.
