Love Ever After Art Installation
Love is in the air with the new installation in Times Square! The Love Ever After installation uses metal mesh used for oyster reef cages to create a three-dimensional grid revealing geometries of a heart. The three-dimensional heart flickers and shifts color and shape as the angle of its perception changes, creating a tactile and human-scale experience in contrast to the high-tech screens for which Times Square is famous. Reuse, regrowth, and love for the environment and community are an integral part to this installation’s focus. After February, the pieces of the heart will become oyster reef cages placed around New York City’s shoreline, monitored by hundreds of volunteers as part of the Billion Oyster Project. Sugar Factory Times Square
For Valentine’s Day, Sugar Factory offers a fun “Love is in the Air” menu with pink treats and lovely meals and drinks! A lovely photo op, just in time for the holiday! Bring your family to the Valentine’s heart installation, now on view at Macy’s. Located on the ground floor just past the perfume section, this heart-shaped tunnel makes for a lovely stop and a perfect photo op for family and friends. Pretty in Pink Brownstone
The award for the most decorated Valentine’s Day house in NYC goes to this house seen here. Known to many as the “holiday house,” this Bay Ridge favorite gets decked out for every occasion, and yes, that includes Valentine’s Day. The LOVEly display features endless pink lights, hearts galore, and red and pink holiday decor. The glittering display will be on view until Valentine’s Day. Serendipity 3
You can’t make a list of the best sweets in NYC without mentioning Serendipity 3. The Frrrozen Hot Chocolate is a must-eat, as it’s a fantastic combo of different types of cocoa powders blended with milk and ice until it becomes a frosty cold treat.
