MERCER LABS: Behind the Experience

Mercer Labs breaks the mold of traditional creative spaces. Visionary artist, Roy Nachum, is the creative force behind Mercer Labs, and is known for his multi-disciplinary approach that experiments with human perception through painting, sculpture, architecture, installation, and design. Expect new exhibits soon! Thanks to an on-site laboratory, a team of artists, engineers, mathematicians, and creatives will continually push the limits of possibility through ongoing collaboration.

MERCER LABS: What to Expect

Prepare to be amazed by the cutting-edge technology that powers each installation! Here are some highlights:

I SEE: Here, a 4D Sound room invites viewers to become listeners. Lie on the floor and let the vibrations from 36 speakers beneath the surface take you on an auditory adventure. Sleeping masks are offered and visitors are invited to recline on the carpet to feel the art instead of viewing it. Fun fact: This room is one of only three large-scale 4D SOUND systems in the world.

THE BEACH: Encounter a large robotic arm performing mechanized sketches in the sand. Watch as it builds and then sweeps away its creations, mimicking human emotions in its transient art.

NEW NATURE: Step into a mesmerizing infinity room with over 500,000 synchronized LED lights forming holographic images and galloping figures. What icons do you see in this sparkling wonder?

PNEUMATIC TRANSMISSION: Remember the old bank teller tubes? Here, pneumatic tubes transport glowing cylinders of light. Make a wish on the interactive screens outside the infinity room, and see it become part of this luminous installation.

MERCER LABS: For Kids

Mercer Labs is like walking through a dream world. Kids (and adults!) will love sliding into a ball pit with 25,000 balls, playing in the interactive chess room, or watching their designs transform into 3D art characters on a live canvas. • Shoe covers are provided and must be worn throughout the experience.
• All ages are welcome, but strollers are not permitted inside.
• Need a snack break? Check out the Mochi counter in the gift shop.
• Note that some rooms feature darkness, heavy fog, and disorienting light effects, which may not be suitable for photosensitive individuals.
