From the director of Pretty Woman and Valentine’s Day comes the next installment in the everyone’s favorite feel good holiday movie series – Mother’s Day!
These movies are such a favorite in our house. Every New Year’s Eve day – we watch New Year’s Eve. The second week of February we make sure to catch Valentine’s Day. These movies have become synonymous with the holiday, and a tradition each year.
Excited to add another movie to our holiday tradition this year!
I was lucky enough to be invited to the special screening of Mother’s Day from my friend Brianne of Stroller in the City, who hosted the fun event. What a great pre-mother’s day treat, and mom’s night out with friends!
We met at the multi-level Regal Battery Park Cinemas, and watched this feel-good comedy together.
Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, and Julia Roberts, and Jason Sudekis star in this celebration of moms everywhere. As with the other movies – Mother’s Day follows along different mothers and situations of the week leading up to the mother’s day holiday – ranging from divorce, young love, and even death.
I will not give away the movie details here (I hate spoilers!), but the movie is guaranteed to have you in laughter, tears and joy of seeing three generations of families come together and resolve their issues – all leading up to a big hearted finale that will have everyone smiling!
A great way to celebrate the Mother of all holidays, and the perfect movie to take you mom (or mom friends) to!
