Lil Kid standing on top of the world – at One World Observatory.

The golden view over Manhattan takes your breath away.

Standing at 1,776 feet, its the tallest building in not only New York, but the entire nation.

Even more, It’s the tallest building in the western hemisphere, and the third tallest structure in the world.

Visitors to the 100th through 102nd floors of One World Trade Center Tower receive a truly spectacular view – unobstructed sights at 1,250 feet high overlooking New York City. Stretching over 50 miles, the views past the skyline, over New Jersey and more are unreal.

You can see forever. It is breathtaking and beyond words.

The height is not the only record breaker – the elevators to reach these amazing heights, called “skypods” have been labeled the fastest in the world.

Visitors by the Numbers

Upon entering – a world map recapping  the visitors to the tower.
An incredible board that is updated in real time showing where checked in visitors are from and how many have visited the tower since its inception.

Lil Kid was already mesmerized and we hadn’t even left the ground floor yet.

The Voices Hall

Through the hall entitled “voices” that tells the story of the individuals who built the incredible structure.

Inside the Elevator

The elevator is even more impressive, with a video time lapse of the New York City skyline from creation to today.

Such an incredible sight to see the city take shape and build into the metropolis that it is today. I wish the ride would have lasted longer!

A walk on the wild side.

Lil Kid walking over the One World Observatory sky portal – a live video feed meant to make you feel you are walking directly over the NYC streets below (over Taxi Cabs and moving traffic!)

While it is only a video, it feels very real. It’s scarey to take that first step!
