After a pilot falls from the sky to find himself in the desert, he meets the Little Prince, a young boy from another planet who is embarking on an extraordinary adventure. Through his journey as he encounters fascinating characters who help him with several things including loneliness, purpose and love; and most importantly, how to follow his heart.
Little Prince on Broadway – What to Expect
This is not your typical book adaptation, play, or musical! The Little Prince brilliantly combines contemporary dance, music, imaginary storytelling, immersive projections, and circus acrobatics to create a truly unique theater experience for the audience.
Avant-garde, sophisticated, and highly artistic, the show consists largely of visual art and non-verbal elements. The narration is mostly in English (occasionally in French) all of which is sur-titled in English on a prompter to the audience. Behind the stage, a gigantic screen displays the backdrop to each scene of the Prince’s journey. These visual immersions of video are surrealistic and breathtaking.
