No bones about it, Halloween Harvest at Luna Park is the perfect place for little ones to bring in the fun fall season. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail | September 25 – November 30 2025

Boo at the Zoo | Weekends, September 27 – October 26 2025

Pick out your spookiest costume and get ready for the annual Halloween craze – Boo at the Zoo. This family-friendly, not-so-scary cherished tradition brings together fun Halloween activities with the Bronx Zoo’s resident wildlife. Trick or Streets |  October 17 – October 31

This October, NYC DOT is once again transforming Open Streets, plazas, and corridors across the city into festive, car-free celebrations. Trick-or-Streets brings extra pedestrian space and seasonal fun to neighborhoods during the busiest days of the year for pedestrians on NYC streets. This year, Trick-or-Streets is growing into a two-week festival of frightfully fun events of car free celebrations turning city streets into festive spaces! From Friday, October 17 through Friday, October 31, New Yorkers can enjoy programming for all ages and abilities, including: live music, interactive show and workshops, harvest-themed activites, seasonal arts & crafts, and festive photo ops. Pumpkin Point | October 25-26 2025

Governors Island’s annual pumpkin patch, Pumpkin Point, is back! This year’s patch will feature thousands of pumpkins and fall-themed activities and treats in historic Nolan Park. Each visitor will be encouraged to take one pumpkin home with them, free of charge. Halloween Pumpkin Flotilla | October 30 2025

The iconic festive flotilla—featuring homemade jack-o’-lanterns floating over the open waters —is a must-see NYC event for kids of all ages. Celebrate Halloween by watching the Harlem Meer light up with floating pumpkins. Feel free to dress for the occasion!  Sail starts at dusk. Halloween Pumpkin Flotilla.  Charles A. Asphalt Screams | October 24 2025

Ready for a scary good time? Asphalt Screams, the Upper East Side’s biggest Halloween event, is back on Friday, October 24. High Line Halloween: Little Park of Horrors | October 25 2025

Join Little Park of Horrors, a family-friendly Halloween celebration on the High Line. Back by popular demand, this spooky-yet-playful event brings NYC’s wild spirit to life with plants and creatures—both real and imagined—that come alive after dark. Enjoy games, crafts, face painting, dancing, and live entertainment hosted by a Halloween drag emcee. Kids can explore an immersive cardboard cityscape, make monster puppets, and join the Rat Race puppet competition, while adults can grab seasonal bites and drinks from favorite High Line vendors. Halloween on the Farm Queens Farm Museum | October 25-26 2025

It’s a monster mash at the Queens County Farm Museum, where Halloween fun takes over the fields! On October 25 & 26, costumed kids and their grown-ups can enjoy a full day of festive farm activities, from Monster Mash dancing and spooky ghost stories in the historic farmhouse to trick-or-treating at nine candy stations spread across 47 acres of farmland. Get lost in the Amazing Maize Maze, hop on a Halloween hayride, and pick the perfect pumpkin for that ultimate fall photo op.
