It’s Christmas time in the City! No better way to celebrate by being part of one of the cities many tree lightings.

One of our favorites is happening soon! This coming Tuesday, November 29th, Manhattan’s South Street Seaport District will kick off the Holiday season with their 33rd Annual tree lighting celebration.

To celebrate the nautical history of New York’s “oldest new neighborhood,” this year’s 60-foot Norway Spruce from Hinsdale, PA will be decorated with a “Constellation” theme depicting the tools sailors of the Old World used to traverse the globe. Held on the Fulton Street cobblestones, the tree lighting evening will include special live performances by Vy Higginsen’s Gospel Choir of Harlem and Grace VanderWaal, winner of the 2016 season of America’s Got Talent.

The celebration kicks off on November 29th at 6:30pm. Be sure to get there early for the best view!

Happy Holidays!
