Cider Season – Orchard Street Apple Fest

photo1 (4)

It’s Apple Cider Week! A week dedicated to all things cider across New York City. Dozens of locations host tastings, flights, pairings, events, and classes across the city. One of the highlights of the week is the first ever cider festival – on the appropriately named Orchard Street in Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

As Cider Week is geared for hard apple cider enthusiasts- it is heavily weighed on the alcoholic delight. However, this festival is a family affair – complete with face painters, activities, apple varietal tastings, caramel apple making, and even a live apple cider press. With so much to do – its a fun and educational afternoon for all ages!
